Down by the River is a creative studio based in Falmouth, Cornwall. With a background in lifestyle photography and floral design, Lisa currently works as a floral artist. She has recently created an online shop full of beautiful dried flowers as well as a selection of carefully curated and thoughtful gifts – all inspired by nature and the botanical world around us. She invites you to bring the outside in and celebrate the seasons throughout the year. She is a great believer in the benefits of the natural world on wellbeing and has a focus on sustainability and ethical practice wherever possible.

This photographic series is based on the Icelandic poppies she nurtured, grew and appreciated as companions during the first lockdown. They are soon to be available to purchase as prints and postcard sets.
