WILLOW AND STONE
Artist Rikke Digerud works mainly from her studio in Wadebridge but is also connected to The Poly in Falmouth and has a forthcoming exhibition booked there in August 2021. She travels (when possible) to her native Norway and to Australia as well as around Cornwall, where she draws on cultural and natural environments as inspirations for work. She often creates sculptural work but also large drawings in charcoal/ pastels as well as watercolour paintings with print and collage additions. She has an MA Fine Art from De Montfort University, Leicester and her permanent sculptural installations can be found in several official buildings around Leicestershire. She works on a part time basis at Tate St Ives.
