Tamsyn was born and brought up in Cornwall and is currently based in Stithians. Her work mainly draws on the natural world as seen in her still life and landscape subjects. Oil is a fairly new medium to this artist, who primarily worked in acrylics and pencil before moving into oil painting after a workshop with internationally acclaimed Cornwall based artist Jon Doran in 2020. Tamsyn is also passionate about lifedrawing - she established Lifedrawing Truro in 2019 and runs regular lifedrawing sessions and workshops from Lifetime Therapy on Lemon Street, Truro.
