2 RHIANNA BERTHOUD

I am Rhianna Berthoud, an Illustrator currently studying at Falmouth University. I am very passionate about authenticity in my own practice as well as creating for the sake of creating. I mainly work with mixed media processes, combining drawing, 3D pieces and heavy experimentation and play. My favourite subject matter to work with is animals as they are a wellspring of inspiration for me. They can take any form, are sometimes otherworldly and always have a warm familiarity to them which I like to convey in my Illustrations.

I have been making art for all 21 years of my life and it is something that still surprises me every day. With my practice I wish to bring joy to peoples’ lives as well as make people think. I hope that in the future I can continue to make artwork that makes people feel free and inspires others to follow their passions, as well as witnessing a few sweet animal drawings along the way!
