This self portrait was a challenge I gave myself to view my body as a piece of art. I enjoy
working on a larger scale using a lively color palette, layering brush strokes. Though not an
art student, painting has always been my way to relax and decompress. I wanted this piece to
depict my morning routine, sitting at my window enjoying a cup of coffee with the morning
sun creeping in.
