CAITLIN NIAMH

Caitlin Noble, Welsh illustrator based in Cornwall- currently studying Illustration at Falmouth University. This painting, titled “The Greenhouse” was inspired by the tranquil, organic patterns found in nature- translating such phenomena in the medium of acrylic, whilst also drawing on ideas of mindfulness meditation in nature. The Greenhouse creates an open space into which the viewer can lose themselves momentarily in the calming colours and patterns of the plants- escaping the stresses of daily life. The Greenhouse is an open door, to which the viewer can return whenever they desire this momentary escape.
