Katie Page is a print designer in her final year of studying Textiles Design at Falmouth University. Her work explores both abstract and illustrative prints, with a focus on line drawings. She specialises in designing fashion fabrics, alongside making her own mini-bags and headscarves. She draws inspiration from both nature and her surroundings, with artists such as Picasso, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Patrick Heron inspiring her drawing techniques. Her work has a focus on sustainability, with many of her designs being printed onto re-purposed fabric and then being made into products. The prints featured in this series are inspired by Falmouth, nature and technology.
