VICKI CLARK

I originally had a design career in the fashion and textiles industry after graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1985.
I started to paint when moving away from London to the South West in 1997.
My work is an emotive response to landscape. Using gestures, marks and colours from expressive abstraction to that of semi-representation.
Recent paintings show the connection and fascination with negative and positive space and simplified abstract shapes inspired by the rich agricultural inland landscape and atmospheric coastal scenes of Cornwall.
